The design and construction of Nyamisati Jetty, located about 200kms South of Dar Es Salaam, for Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA) is currently underway.
The jetty will comprise of
- 50m long approach trestle with a fisherman jetty and a jetty head
- Two (2) breasting dolphins.
- Two (2) mooring dolphins.
The Pilling Work is executed by Alphahek Ltd, a joint Venture between Alpha Logistics Services (EPZ) Ltd and Van ‘t Hek Groep BV. This project is entirely executed with Alpha Logistics Services (EPZ) Ltd and affiliates own equipment (barge, tug, modular jack-up, cranes and hammers).
The project will also involve dredging of 40,000 Cum using an excavator and DOP Pump and the construction of a passenger lounge, cargo shed, engineers residence, office, ablution block, overhead tank, 2000 sqm pavement and a boundary wall with a gate and a gatehouse.
The successful completion of this project will provide a proper port landing facility in order to spur social economic development in Nyamisati, Mafia and other nearby areas.
